Dear Sister and Brother

Oh, my sister and brother,

I see your anguish and feel your pain,

I cry for you, I think of you, but sadly it is all in vain,

Oh, my sister and brother,

I hear your cries, I taste your tears,

Your suffering has lasted for too many years.

Oh, my sister and brother,

Your children are sick, and your parents are dead,

Your spirit is strong but your heart it has bled.

Oh, my sister and brother,

What can be done, how can this be made right?

It can’t not until the world comes to its senses and ceases to fight.
