Who is Really Rich

You boast of riches, brash and grand,

A fortune residing in your hand.

Your car may win in every race,

Your mansion sits in the finest space

You say, “I have more money than you,

More power, status, prestige too.”

And yes, it’s true, your treasures shine,

Your world gleams brighter than does mine.

But tell me this, when the night is still,

Can gold alone your spirit fill?

For while your vaults are bursting wide,

There’s something deeper, concealed inside.

My heart holds more than money’s gleam,

A love that fuels each person’s dream.

My hands give more than yours can take,

My soul is rich for goodness sake.

You chase the world, and its fleeting gold,

While I find joy in good stories told,

In quiet peace, in giving more,

A wealth not measured, but kept in store.

So friend, reflect, and tell me true,

Who’s richer now, is it me or you?
