People lie but actions certainly do not,

When you think about it, this happens a lot.

If judge you must simply see what they have done,

If it differs from what they say, then trust there should be none.

 

As some people say, you must walk the walk,

It’s not good enough just to talk, talk, talk

Learn to listen by using your eyes

It is then quite easy to see who proffers most lies

 

Liars distract, they change their tune,

Some tell the truth, not much, but perhaps once in a blue moon.

So when someone says, “believe what I say,”

Look them in the eye and question; “what have you actually done today”?

 

Do not be distracted, stand your ground

Keep on going until the truth you have found,

Challenge the lies, the alternative truths,

And when they are uncovered shout it loud from the roofs.
