Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror that hangs on my wall,

Tell me a story no matter how tall.

Tell me I’m younger and prettier too,

Tell me I’m charming loyal and true.

Reflecting that which I don’t want to see,

Is not an option that works well for me,

So tell me what I want and not what I need,

Tell me I’m clever so my ego you feed.

Unless I agree with you, I will not accept,

The vision of corruption and my actions inept,

I demand that I’m shown in the best possible light,

I don’t give a dam if I am wrong or I’m right.

So mirror mirror that hangs on my wall

Do not show me the way that I eventually fall,

And those that support me and my wicked ways,

Should go down before me, it’s just a matter of days
